Career Wardrobe Does it Again!

Another year, another event to help women in their transition to work. The Career Wardrobe is a wonderful outlet for women who are looking to get back on their feet and into a good job, making for a better life.
The annual “A Perfect Fit” event was held tonight in Philadelphia where many women in the media, myself included, modeled an outfit to be donated to Career Wardrobe. They help thousands of women with networking and career skills training. A big thank you to the ladies who keep Career Wardrobe going, keep it up!

Now that it’s summer, I’ve always liked to sprinkle some baby powder on the bed sheets. Can you tell me if talcum powder is harmful in any way?
Thanks!

I’m not a big fan of powders. For example, talc which is in baby powder, is closely related to the potent carcinogen asbestos. Talc particles have been shown to cause tumors in the ovaries and lungs of cancer victims.
Also, talcum powder being used in the genital area is said to cause ovarian cancer. Studies overall have been inconclusive and contradictory, but I recommend exercising caution and staying away from powders that contain talc.
A healthier alternative would be cornstarch powder. Check out this website for some healthier options: sales.bathandbody@gmail.com
