Eat Lunch and Keep Your Motor Running

Lunch is an important meal to keep your motor running smoothly, and eating a lunch that provides lot’s of nutrients is easy. 

Start with whole-wheat or whole-grain bread, add a delicious low-fat, lower-calorie cheese like Jarlsberg Lite, which is a good source of calcium. Layer on top with a slice of fresh turkey or chicken, sprouts, or lettuce, and tomato, and you have a light and delicious sandwich that you and your kids will love.  (For an after-school treat, try making a grilled cheese sandwich on whole-grain bread and Jarlsberg Lite cheese, it melts beautifully for a rich-tasting, creamy treat).

Add to that some fresh fruit, a few whole-grain crackers, pure, clean water, and you’ll feel energized and satisfied.  Delicious and nutritious!
