Staying Young and Healthy…No Matter What Age You Are

Everyday I work to fend off aging. Anti-aging is something we all can now embrace, thanks to forward thinking researchers who live in labs to discover ways to keep the effects of old age from robbing us of our health and happiness. I don’t ever want to succumb to the ravaging effects of old age. Instead, I want to do everything I can to stay healthy and strong and live a long life free of chronic disease, or even something far worse.

I talk a lot about antioxidants here and for good reason. They are what keep our bodies free of disease by warding off potentially deadly free radicals, which if not kept at bay, will damage our cells and rob us of our health. Antioxidants are nature’s way of protecting us. They’re found in super foods like fruits and vegetables, in herbs and spices.

Among the most potent antixodants…beta-carotene, (think carrots, squash, pumpkin, sweet potatoes) Vitamin C, (think citrus) and Vitamin E, (think wheat germ, sunflower seeds, almonds, dried apricots, and dried herbs like basil and organo). Each of these have been shown to be very effective in fending off age-related illnesses, including cancer and heart disease.

Studies show people are living longer, and with that should come the luxury of living healthier, and living younger.

Now that’s what I call growing older gracefully… (Think Jane Fonda).

Just want to let you know what a great job you do and your one of the reasons I watch KMIR, now I know why you look so fit.
